The Uztlius Property, located 20 km southeast of Boston Bar, British Columbia, in the New Westminster Mining Division, lies at elevations of 800–1000 metres near Uztlius Creek, with good access via a logging road off Highway 1. Historical work in 1975 by Quintana identified a breccia pipe mineralized with chalcopyrite, minor malachite, and chalcocite, yielding copper and molybdenum values in chip samples across a 61m width. Adjacent rhyolite zones also showed significant copper and molybdenum mineralization. The North Zone, covering at least 1.5 by 1.0 km, features a strong soil anomaly with values up to 3,150 ppm copper and 139 ppm molybdenum, open to the north, south, and west. The eastern claims are underlain by Eagle granodiorite of Upper Jurassic age in contact with various volcanic and sedimentary formations. Key geological features include the Chuwanten Fault and associated linear structures, with intersecting crustal fractures and faults influencing the area’s mineralization potential.
